The Future of Purpose-Built
Rental Living
Welcome to 230 Royal York – a joint venture with Windmill Developments where Nordic design inspiration meets sustainable building practices to deliver 60 new rental homes. Located steps from Mimico GO, 230 Royal York offers connectivity to downtown Toronto and access to nearby parks, grocery stores and schools in Etobicoke’s desirable Mimico neighbourhood.
The 9-storey project is prefabricated using the Intelligent City mass timber system for both the structure and envelope, resulting in a faster, cleaner, and more efficient construction process with exposed wood ceilings in each unit. Off-site construction ensures the highest level of precision, resulting in less on-site delays and guaranteeing quality control for future residents.
230 Royal York embodies a commitment to creating communities that are not only beautiful and functional but also mindful of their environmental impact. Sponsored by the One Planet Living Fund, this project utilizes mass timber construction as well as geothermal heating & cooling systems, a high-performance envelope, and no natural gas to achieve LEED Platinum certification, TGS Tier 2, and Passive-House-equivalency.
