Mathieu Fleury

Mathieu holds a Masters in Real Estate Finance from The University of Cambridge in England and is a proven and highly respected industry leader. With firms such as Loblaw Properties Limited, Great Gulf, and Dream Unlimited over the last 12 years, Mathieu has been responsible for the financial forecasting and budgeting of over 15,000 residential units and over 7 million square feet of commercial development across Canada. Managing teams of financial analysts, he has developed complex financial models and produces analytics without comparison.

Mathieu was born and raised in the suburbs of Montreal, Quebec and has been living in Toronto since the late 2000s. He is an avid traveller and draws inspiration from his visits to almost 30 countries. He is a past competitive tennis player as well as an enthusiastic alpine skier. He values functional and well-appointed living spaces and aspires to create new buildings people will be proud to call home.

Alexandra Simpson

Alexandra is a Development Manager with a background in urban planning, holding both a BA in Human Geography and Economics and a Master’s in Urban Planning from the University of Toronto.

With Leader Lane since their first year, Alexandra has been instrumental in driving the development pipeline from acquisition through to completion. Alex plays a key role in all aspects of development activity, focusing on innovative projects utilising a range of construction typologies and working within infill site constraints.

She has a holistic understanding of the development process and leads projects from inception through completion, finding creative solutions to ensure that projects are successfully delivered.

Vivian Patel

Vivian manages urban development projects and excels at streamlining project timelines and efficiently securing municipal application approvals. With a strong background in urban planning, sustainability, land transactions, and real estate development, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to all projects.

As a Development Manager, Vivian is responsible for the full development cycle—from site acquisition and highest-and-best use analysis to securing municipal approvals and building permits. Her strategic mindset and commitment to execution make her a key contributor to the success of Leader Lane’s projects.

Vivian holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and is also a LEED GA and an RPP Candidate Member.
